Tremors 6 will shoot in South Africa

Returning director Don Michael Paul hinted at it in a series of Instagram posts, now Tremors star Michael Gross has confirmed it: the franchise is returning to South Africa for Tremors 6.

Gross revealed in September 2016 that Tremors 6 was going into production, with Don Michael Paul posting photos from a location scout at Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve in November.

Amazon’s Tremors series is ‘a Donald Trump story’ reveals writer

The writer of Amazon’s upcoming Tremors mini-series has revealed that Kevin Bacon will star as “a horrible loser” and that the town of Perfection is “coming face to face with failure”.

Michael Gross reveals Tremors 6 is happening

“IT IS HAPPENING!” So screamed the announcement on Michael Gross’ Facebook page last night as he revealed that Tremors 6 has been given the greenlight from Universal Studios Entertainment.

He went on to confirm that his Tremors 5 co-star, Jamie Kennedy, would be back for more monster hunting, along with director Don Michael Paul.

Nothing else is known about the latest entry in the Tremors saga, though it’s likely the film won’t see the return of original creators, SS Wilson and Brent Maddock, who declined to be part of the rebooted franchise back in 2014 when they discovered they wouldn’t have any creative control over the project – read their full statement.
